    Review the rules of the road and learn new information regarding today’s carsand update your driving skills. Those over the age of 55 qualify to receive a 10% discount on their auto insurance following the completion of the 8-hour basic course. To maintain this discount, a 4-hour refresher course is required every three years. Instructor: Minnesota Safety Council.

For the past 26 years, Advantage Educational Programs benefited thousands of students in Minnesota by preparing them for the college entrance exams. They offer ACT Preparatory Courses in more than forty high schools in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding area. These courses are designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and improve their overall scores on the college entrance exams. Students who finish the course increase their scores significantly. Advantage Education will provide an introduction to the ACT format with strategies for answering questions, as well as instruction for the specific subject areas tested. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, vocabulary development, intensive mathematical review, reading comprehension improvement, science reasoning, concentration improvement, overcoming test anxiety, essay writing, and time management. Make up classes are available. THREE OPTIONS are available to register for the ACT Test Prep Course: In-person classroom The course includes diagnostic testing, instruction in time management, overcoming test anxiety, science reasoning, English strategies and review, essay writing, reading comprehension, and math strategies and review.     Enjoy a fun “paint date” for you and your partner age 10+. Experience a fun and relaxing environment with the challenge of a class guided by a professional artist. Each individual will work on a different side of a canvas at the same time with a partner. When the two sides join at the end of class, you will have one complete artwork.     Join Coach Zizzo for practice on your shooting form, ball handling, defense and finishing at the rim. The MHS girls basketball varsity coach will lead the campers weekly on skill development and add in fun games/scrimmages.     Alzheimer's and other dementia's cause memory, thinking, and behavior problems that interfere with daily living. Join us to learn how to recognize common signs of the disease; how to approach someone about memory concerns; the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis; possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer's Association resources.     Let’s get active while learning new sports and skills. Develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cardiovascular fitness and more. Explore ten sports: baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, football, basketball, soccer, golf, hockey, tennis and track and field. Each 40-minute class encompasses two different developmental sports, muscle identification and nutrition lessons, using fun activities so children can build their skills, at their own pace, in a non-competitive atmosphere.

    A discovery based movement program. Enjoy physical challenges and organized exploration activities which increase major motor development. Explore and learn 10 sports: baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, football, basketball, soccer, golf, hockey, tennis and track and field. Each 30-minute class encompasses a developmental sport, muscle identification and nutrition lessons, using fun activities that highlight motor-development skill building. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
