Registration Policies 

Registrations

  • Registration deadlines are 5 days prior to the start date. 

  • A $15 late registration fee will be assessed, if permitted. 

  • Registration fees are not prorated.


Requested Cancellations/Refunds

  • Refunds require a minimum of five days prior to the start date of a class/camp. 

  • No refund is issued after the registration deadline. 

  • A $15 cancellation fee will be assessed for any approved cancellation.

  • Change requests for classes/camps are not accepted. If a change is needed, first cancel the class and pay cancellation fee, then register for another class.


Cancellations

  • Insufficient Enrollment – Classes/camps may be canceled if there is insufficient enrollment. In the event of such a cancellation, participants will be notified via the email used at registration and issued a full refund. 

  • Emergency School Closing and Bad Weather – If District 832 schools are closed due to weather or other situations, Mahtomedi Community Education activities will be canceled. Credit or refunds will not be given. Every effort will be made to offer a make-up class.


Persons with Disabilities

  • For activities offered through the Community Bridge Consortium, please call 651-748-7250. 

  • Persons with disabilities are welcome in any activity and may bring a PCA at no extra charge. Please call 651-407-2018 to help us plan accordingly and/or to discuss needed accommodations.


Publicity Policy

  • Mahtomedi Community Education reserves the right to use photos, videos, and participant names for publicity purposes. Requests to opt-out of publicity/marketing must inform Community Education by calling 651-407-2018 or emailing communityed@isd832.net.

  • Note K-12 student identifiable information falls under the media release/publicity policy of Mahtomedi Public Schools (see Policy 515).


Liability Policy

  • Participants should be aware that there is an inherent and assumed risk of accident and injury in any activity. Mahtomedi Public Schools and Community Education assumes no responsibility for injuries received during activities.
