This program will offer participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals, techniques and refine track running skills. Participants will get trained in running stride frequency, improve quickness, starting blocks, relay handoffs/exchanges, and proper running technique. Athletes will work on continued improvement for involvement in school Track programs. Track running is a lifelong sport in which each athlete can strive to achieve their personal best. It is the universal conditioner for a myriad of sports and can enhance individual skills. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meet in gym #2 at the start of each program date. Intructor, Coach Jon Nelson.
