Project Citizen (grades 6-8)

Youth Enrichment (grades K-12) / Academics & Learning -
2026 Winter-Spring

Project Citizen is an amazing way for students grades 6-8 to become engaged in your world, to witness democracy in action, and to use your skills and passions to create change!

Work with a group of your friends to identify a problem in your community, research and gather information, evaluate solutions, propose a public policy (a law) to deal with the problem, and present an action plan.

Each Project Citizen team creates a display board about their project and presents it to government officials at the State Capitol in May (date TBD). Grab some friends and come make a difference!
