During this workshop, we will make embroidered felt heart ornaments! In this hands-on class, you will learn embroidery stitches, how to layer felt pieces, and how to add beads and embellishments for a beautiful finish.
Your handmade hearts, just in time for Valentine’s Day, could be ornaments, gift toppers, sachets, or keepsakes.
All materials are provided, including colorful felt, embroidery thread and needles, beads, and embellishments. Beginners will be taught stitching basics and more advanced learners will expand on their embellishment knowledge!
We will enjoy this class in a private room at Big Wood Brewery, where you will be able to make personal purchases. If you plan on making a purchase, please bring funds and a valid ID.
Aimee has been doing fiber arts in one way or another for most of her life. When she’s not spending time with her husband and three children, you can often find her hand embroidering, quilting, bag making or crocheting!
Kristina has a lifetime love of fiber arts! But within the past 15 years has morphed that casual hobby into a full time passion. She always has a project on hand but especially enjoys embroidery, knitting, sewing, and weaving. These skills have been lovingly taught to her and she is so excited to get to introduce them to others to enjoy and create!
