Sourdough 101 - NEW

Adults / Arts, Crafts & Culinary -
2026 Winter-Spring

Come learn the Art of Sourdough! This is a very hands-on class where you get to go through all the initial steps of mixing the dough, discuss the whole process of how to make a loaf of bread, feed your new sourdough starter and learn how to maintain it, and get every question answered!

Materials and ingredients are provided: a bowl, a jar with sourdough starter, a dough whisk, a spatula, flour, water, salt, a handout with access to a very informative guide that will help you throughout your sourdough journey, and you also get to taste some fresh bread and sourdough cookies throughout class! (all materials are YOURS to bring home). You have the choice to bring your own food scale or we will provide one for you to keep for an additional $15 fee.

Come join this fun, amazing and creative community of sourdough baking! It’s truly life changing. Students ages 10 and up can register with a registered adult.

Rachel Jordan

Rachel Jordan was a special education teacher for six years but recently became a Stay-At-Home-Mom. After picking up the craft of sourdough, her family hasn’t had store bought bread in four years because not only is the taste of homemade bread so delicious but the health benefits outweigh any other bread out there. Rachel loves the creativity that comes with baking sourdough…the ideas are endless and it’s truly a form of art.

Rachel has taught sourdough classes for the last 15 months and have taught over 1,000 people!
