Forest Bathing Walking Meditation - FREE

Adults / General Interest & more -
2026 Winter-Spring

Forest Bathing is an ancient Japanese practice of spending time in nature, specifically in areas with trees, to enhance well-being. Learn more about Forest Bathing here.

We will start with an overview and brief meditation, followed by a slow walk, allowing each person to observe and feel immersed in the surroundings. At the end of the session, participants will be invited to share about their experience. Participants must be able to walk the gravel (and in some places uneven) path. Wear bug spray or sunscreen as needed. Participants will be asked to silence phones during the session.

Please note this session is not being led by a trained meditation or forest bathing expert, but by community members interested in learning about the practice and sharing the opportunity with others. We will cancel if rain prevents us from being outside.

Location: Katherine Abbott Park (1000 Lincolntown Avenue).  Date: TBD, See Eleyo for updates
