Intro to Forest Bathing Meditation - FREE

Forest Bathing is an ancient Japanese practice of spending time in nature, specifically in areas with trees, to enhance well-being. Learn more about Forest Bathing here.

The session will start with a description of forest bathing and a brief meditation exercise, followed by a slow, silent walk along the trail in Katherine Abbott Park, ending with time to share with others what you experienced during the walk. Participants must be able to walk the gravel (and in some places uneven) path. Wear bug spray or sunscreen as needed. Participants will be asked to silence phones during the session. 

If the weather prevents us from holding this gathering, we will cancel via email.

Please note this session is not being led by a trained meditation or forest bathing expert, but by community members interested in learning about the practice and sharing the opportunity with others.
