Adults / Lifelong Learning -
Fall 2025

Drought has been part of Minnesota history even before statehood (1858). Severe droughts have dried up lakes and streams, produced some of the worst wildfires, and bankrupted many farmers. Several of the most impactful droughts will be discussed.

In addition, drought onset, drought duration, and drought recovery characteristics appear to be changing as a result of climate change. Adaptation is required to effectively cope with this.

Registration deadline: November 18th at noon
