What about Executive Orders, Pardons, Impeachments, Power of the Purse, Declarations of War, Deportations? All of these and many more questions are involved in defining presidential powers. 

What does the Constitution say, and how do they try to get around it? There have been “muscular” presidents and weak presidents. Learn how successful or failing various administrations have been and why.

Kathy Simmer taught in the St. Paul Public School District and was always very interested in historical research. Kathy presents about American history topics for various organizations. She likes to include the details that are often left out of the history books. All of her portion of the class fee is donated to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research.
