History with Kathy Simmer: "Personal Presidency of Abraham Lincoln"

Adults / Lifelong Learning -
Fall 2025

Lincoln said that he suffered from “a recurring melancholy” throughout his life. Join us to learn about his personality as it relates to his values, his marriage and his presidency during a time of war.

Luckily he also valued humor and seeing things from others’ points of view. He had a sharp mind that helped him save the Union. Unlike some other presidents, he never put himself first.
