This course offers an exploration of the geological history, processes, and features that have shaped the state of Minnesota. Learn about the state's diverse geological landscape, including its ancient rock formations, glacial features, mineral resources, and unique landforms. T

opics include the formation of Minnesota's iron ranges, the impact of glaciers during the last Ice Age, and the origins of the state's lakes and rivers. 

Participants will learn about Minnesota’s geological history and its implications for natural resources, environmental challenges, and land use.
