Private Piano and Guitar Lessons
ECFE builds on family strengths and supports families in their efforts to raise their infants, toddlers and preschool aged children. Families attend classes together to experience learning in a safe environment to prepare for preschool and kindergarten.
Commonly played with four players, mahjong (or mah-jongg) is a tile-based game that is similar to gin rummy, but with tiles and elaborate rules that require concentration, cooperation, strategy, patience, and luck. Recent articles in AARP Magazine and BlueCrossMN/Thrive Magazine note mahjong’s increase in popularity around the country and is a great game for all, especially older adults, utilizing critical thinking skills and exercising your brain muscle. It is also a great social gathering. The two-day class includes a color printout and large-print playing cards.
Nancy has played Mahjongg for 9+ years and has enjoyed training over 100 people in the past 5 years. She utilizes the American version and teaches the rules adopted by the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL).
