Henna Art Workshop (Grades 6-8)

Youth Enrichment (grades K-12) / Arts, Crafts & Creativity (grades K-8) -
2025 Winter-Spring

Discover the rich culture of henna! Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. It is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from dyes. After stains reach their peak color and hold for a few days, they gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. We will explore the basics of henna tattoos and get to practice.

You will receive a take home henna cone to practice later. All the materials will be provided.
