Join Kathy in exploring fascinating topics from America’s past along with juicy details usually left out of the textbooks.

“I’ve Been Working On the Railroad” Irish-American Civil War veterans, freed slaves, Mormon pioneers and Chinese laborers were recruited to do the hard and very dangerous work of building the Transcontinental Railroad. Learn about this massive undertaking including those dangers, the racism, the rolling brothels, the golden spike and how its completion drastically changed America.
