Private Piano and Guitar Lessons
ECFE builds on family strengths and supports families in their efforts to raise their infants, toddlers and preschool aged children. Families attend classes together to experience learning in a safe environment to prepare for preschool and kindergarten.
Mahjong (or mah-jongg) is a tile-based game that is similar to gin rummy, but with tiles and elaborate rules that require concentration, cooperation, strategy, patience and luck. It is commonly played with four players. Recent articles in the AARP magazine and the BlueCrossMN/Thrive magazine note its increase in popularity around the country and is a great game for older adults. It takes critical thinking skills and exercises your brain muscle. It becomes a great social gathering! Two-day training. Fee includes color printout and 2023 large-print playing card.
Instructor: Nancy Poferl. Nancy has played for 3+ years and has trained over 30 people in the past 12 months. She uses the American version and teaches the rules adopted by the National Mah Jongg League (”NMJL”).
