Improve your volleyball skills or try the sport for the first time! Two separate 1-week session camps will feature instruction from MHS volleyball coaches and focus on developing volleyball knowledge and perfecting skills like passing, setting, hitting, and serving. Emphasis will be on maximum quality contacts, and train for future high school volleyball participation. This camp will also incorporate plyometric exercises and circuit training to help improve your vertical jump. Please note: if you are interested in setting specifically, there is an additional 1 hour co-ed setting clinic that will happen immediately prior to this camp, from 11:30 - 12:30 (between the boys' and girls' camps). Coaches: Dani Wyse and Dana Pederson
Dana Pederson is a Mahtomedi resident, one of the MHS Girls Varsity Assistant coaches and runs the spring middle school boys program. She teaches Physical Education in Maplewood, played collegiate volleyball and has over two decades of volleyball coaching experience.
