Completed grades 1-11.
ECFE builds on family strengths and supports families in their efforts to raise their infants, toddlers and preschool aged children. Families attend classes together to experience learning in a safe environment to prepare for preschool and kindergarten.
Story Starters: Spring Creative Writing Club
Spring is full of possibilities so it’s the perfect time to get creative and have fun with your writing. Each week we’ll gather together for an hour of writing games and exercises designed to flex your writing muscles and create new characters, perilous plots, and spontaneous settings. Each week we’ll work on an aspect of the story through writing prompts, group brainstorms, and discussion.
Students should bring their favorite journal and pens or a laptop to write on.
Instructor: Amber Guetebier, White Bear Lake Center for the Arts. Amber is a writer, author of several books, and currently writing several more. She worked as an editor in publishing, both print and online, for most of her adult career before transitioning to writing full-time.
