  • Adult-Child “Paint Date” (adult with student age 10 and up)

    Enjoy a fun “paint date” for you and your partner age 10+. Experience a fun and relaxing environment with the challenge of a class guided by a professional artist. Each individual will work on a different side of a canvas at the same time with a partner. When the two sides join at the end of class, you will have one complete artwork.     Join us for a fun-filled hour learning how to make a beautiful charcuterie board! This is a beginner course and is meant to introduce you to an understanding of charcuterie and the many possibilities and varieties you can build. Your registration fee includes a wooden charcuterie board, fruits, veggies and delicious aged cheeses and fine meats.   • Cooking: Crepes - Not Just for Breakfast!

    Crepes are an easy, impressive do-ahead dish. We will prepare Chicken Divan (chicken with broccoli in a cheese sauce) for our main dish. Follow it with Cheese Blintzes served with an apricot sauce and Mushroom Crepes with Sherry Sauce. Orange Crepe Suzette, Italian and Sicilian Cannoli, Flaming Crepes, and other desserts will round out our selections. Each student will have lots of experience in "making perfect crepes" including flipping them!     Great class to take with a friend or family member! Send your taste buds on a trip to France! Prepare a five-course French dinner so delicious, it would make Marie Antionette lose her head! Provence, the region home to Marseille, Nice and the Riviera, often bases its cuisine on garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, saffron and herbs. Experience Vichyssoise, potato Galettes, Saffron rice, Coquille St. Jacques ala Provencal, and Crème caramel. Sprinkled in will be a little history and culture of the French Provence region.     Don't go out to eat...stay in with us to make an amazing Southern Style Dinner! Great class to take with a friend, family member or spouse! Beginning in the 1960's, food in the U.S. deep south was heavily influenced by early settlers from France, Germany and Spain. Slaves from Senegal, Africa, then Cuban refugees and Cajuns from Nova Scotia, Canada also contributed to the medley of flavors using the wealth of local seafood, vegetables, poultry, livestock and of course pecans. Join us in creating a memorable meal to include: Crab Dip, traditional Cheese Straws, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Buttermilk Biscuits, Cheese Grits, Pecan Praline candy and traditional Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce.
